Finally something I trust with a newborn
Bought it when she was six weeks old and she's completely snug in it — head supported, face out where I can see her. The zip is a proper heavy one, not flimsy. I've worn it every single day since.
Dog walks are possible again
Lead in one hand, baby on me, and off we go. And when he's with his dad the pouch zips flat and it's just a hoodie — you'd never know.
Not just a mum thing
Ordered the navy in XL half expecting it to look daft on me. It doesn't. She falls asleep on me in about four minutes flat, which my wife is very annoyed about.
Roomy enough to layer, and true to size
I'm normally a 12 and the L is spot on — the chart says 12–14 and it's right. There's room for the pouch and a jumper underneath. Only reason it's four stars is I'd have liked a pocket for my phone.
So much kinder on my scar
I couldn't manage a structured carrier after my section, the straps sat right on it. This spreads the weight across my shoulders and there's nothing digging in anywhere.
Bought it for my daughter, now I want one
Wrapped it up for her baby shower and she opened it in tears. She's used it non-stop since. The fleece is much thicker than I expected for the price.
Warm without the coat battle
No more wrestling him into a coat and back out of it in the car. He's warm against me and I just unzip when we get somewhere.
Does the job, took eleven days
Arrived a bit slower than I'd have liked but it was worth the wait. Solid fleece, washes fine, no bobbling.
School run sorted
Two kids and one pair of hands. Baby goes in the front, I hold my eldest's hand, done. Sounds like a small thing but it's changed my mornings.
Third wash and still like new
Expected it to go bobbly and lose its shape. It hasn't. Straight in at 30, hung to dry, same hoodie.
Still holds its shape
I have my granddaughter two days a week while my daughter works, and I was sure the pouch would sag once there was a real baby in it. Five weeks of that and it still sits exactly where it did on day one.
You cannot tell when it is empty
Wore it into the office on a day my mum had the baby. Two lads asked where the hoodie was from and neither of them clocked the pouch.
Not too hot indoors
Our flat runs warm and I was worried we would both be boiling. I unzip the top half indoors and it is fine. Outside I zip it back up.
Out in seconds at the till
First baby and I was dreading a faff at the till with a queue behind me. One hand under him, one on the zip, and he was out. Faster than unclipping the old carrier.
Her head stays where I can see it
The bit I checked first. Her chin is off her chest, face clear, and I can see her the whole time without pulling the fabric down.
A size 20 that actually fits
I usually give up on this kind of thing. Took the XXL and it is roomy through the chest and long enough over my hips. No riding up.
Brown is a touch darker in person
Lovely thing and I am keeping it, but the brown came out darker than the photo on my phone. Closer to a chocolate. Still goes with everything.
Fed her without taking it off
Did not expect this to work. I loosened the pouch, fed her on a bench in the rain and nobody was any the wiser.
No red marks at all
My little one gets eczema on her cheeks and anything scratchy sets it off. Three weeks in the pouch and not a single red mark. The inside is softer than her muslins.
Good for short mums, just
I am 5ft 1 and expected it to swamp me. The body is fine, the sleeves I had to roll once. Only gripe is the neck cord, which is far too long on me.
Holds a chunky ten month old
My son is 9.8kg and in the 98th centile. He is fully supported, no pulling on my shoulders, and I did a whole Tesco shop with him in there.
Wore it through the bump too
Bought it at 34 weeks just as a warm hoodie and it went over the bump with room to spare. Now he is here and it does the other job.
Swapped a size with no fuss
Ordered an M, needed an L. Emailed on the Monday, label came back same day, the L arrived that Friday. No arguing.
Zip has not snagged once
The stitching round the pouch is doubled, you can see it. The zip is the bit that usually goes on these and it is still smooth after a month.
