KinlyMoon 2-in-1 Fleece Baby Carrier Hoodie

Bought it when she was six weeks old and she's completely snug in it — head supported, face out where I can see her. The zip is a proper heavy one, not flimsy. I've worn it every single day since.

Lead in one hand, baby on me, and off we go. And when he's with his dad the pouch zips flat and it's just a hoodie — you'd never know.

Ordered the navy in XL half expecting it to look daft on me. It doesn't. She falls asleep on me in about four minutes flat, which my wife is very annoyed about.

I'm normally a 12 and the L is spot on — the chart says 12–14 and it's right. There's room for the pouch and a jumper underneath. Only reason it's four stars is I'd have liked a pocket for my phone.

I couldn't manage a structured carrier after my section, the straps sat right on it. This spreads the weight across my shoulders and there's nothing digging in anywhere.

Wrapped it up for her baby shower and she opened it in tears. She's used it non-stop since. The fleece is much thicker than I expected for the price.

No more wrestling him into a coat and back out of it in the car. He's warm against me and I just unzip when we get somewhere.

Did not expect this to work. I loosened the pouch, fed her on a bench in the rain and nobody was any the wiser.

My little one gets eczema on her cheeks and anything scratchy sets it off. Three weeks in the pouch and not a single red mark. The inside is softer than her muslins.

I am 5ft 1 and expected it to swamp me. The body is fine, the sleeves I had to roll once. Only gripe is the neck cord, which is far too long on me.

My son is 9.8kg and in the 98th centile. He is fully supported, no pulling on my shoulders, and I did a whole Tesco shop with him in there.

Bought it at 34 weeks just as a warm hoodie and it went over the bump with room to spare. Now he is here and it does the other job.

Ordered an M, needed an L. Emailed on the Monday, label came back same day, the L arrived that Friday. No arguing.

The stitching round the pouch is doubled, you can see it. The zip is the bit that usually goes on these and it is still smooth after a month.
